Why are they dominating the American National Spelling bee? Instapundit has a post about it here. An Indian-American Madhu Dahiya responds with a revealing email (italics mine):
As an Indian-American reader of your blog I'd like to point out that these are American kids after all. I am very proud of my Indian heritage, but I'm an American first and foremost. These kids are growing up here. They *are* part of the anglosphere - the 21st century globalized, American Anglosphere, and I think they are holding up to the challenge quite well :)I'm sure many Indian immigrants share that sense of belonging to their adopted country.
